Few fighters have reached the heights that Chatchai Sasakul has who fought almost 100 Muay Thai bouts and had a glittering career in boxing.
Following an amateur career that included competing at the Olympic Games, he turned professional and became WBC Champion - a title which he successfully defended twice. In the end, he was only unseated from his thrown by a young Manny Pacquiao. At the end of his professional career, Sakasul had fought 68 bouts, winning 63 of them, and losing only 4.
Now a head trainer in both boxing and Muay Thai, he has built a reputation as an expert in building fighters' hand techniques, winning the award of Thailand's Coach of the Year. At Sasakul Gym, he aims to pass on the precision and know-how which brought him over 20 years of success in the ring.
